Help in Ukraine

With the support of the generous people of Hull and surrounding area we have been able to sent 16 full lorries full of humanitarian aid to Poland and Romania to provide relief there or to be sent on into Ukraine. We have shared with other aid charities numerous part loads of aid and we support a number of individuals who regularly take aid in their own time and own vehicles.

We are proud of the fact that all of the transport has been done at zero cost to Hull4Ukraine due to sponsorship or return loads.

We are also proud that no-one who works within our organisation is paid from your donations. This means that 100% of any funds donated to Hull4Ukraine has been used to buy aid. Some of the aid sent to Romania was bought with your cash donations at a local store.

The effect the aid has on those who receive it amazing. Here are some of the comments we have received.

This picture holds a special place in the hearts of our volunteers who can recognise the unusual shape of the boxes, and the writing, so they know that the aid is getting to where it is needed.

“We would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart to Hull City Council, Alan Hardy, Joanna Borecka, to all volunteers and to the people who donated. Thank you for your kindness!

I would like to thank you one more time for your time, your help and support, and most of all-for your kind heart! All this means so much for us! I hope one day you’ll be able to visit my home country and feel it’s atmosphere and our hospitality! We appreciate the support of the British people SOOOOO much, I can’t even describe it!
