Vyshyvanka Day is an international holiday that aims to preserve the Ukrainian folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothes called vyshyvankas.

This day is celebrated annually, on the 3rd Thursday of May.

This year on May 18th we’re inviting you to wear your vyshyvanka to demonstrate its unique beauty and to declare your belongingness to a long and renowned cultural tradition.
