
Hull4Ukraine and Hull and East Yorkshire Ukrainian Community are overwhelmed with gratitude for Roos and South Holderness Singers, Sally Roper and their super talented team for donating £750.
This money was raised at the sellout benefit concert in Hedon on 24.02.2023 . And what an incredible event it was, Sally, greeting all guests in Ukrainian, amazing Prayer for Ukraine sang in Ukrainian, fantastic performance and atmosphere.
£600 allowed us to buy life saving CAT GEN7 tourniquets. 14 of these are already on the way to Maryinka frontline. Another 10 tourniquets are set to be sent to Kherson frontline.
£150 transferred to a Mental Health hospital that provides neuropsychiatric services in Chernihiv region. Apart from caring to mental health patients, this hospital is now also treats wounded defenders. Your money will enable this hospital to buy a washing machine that was stolen by russian soldiers amongst other essential equipment when this area was under occupation. Your donations will make a huge difference to their patients and staff.
Donations raised from souvenirs sale were spent to buy torches, battery charger, emergency thermal blankets, and warm socks for the defenders of Zaporizhzhia frontline.
